Position Title: TSP Lead Program Facilitator

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Prepare and deliver The Scholars Project™ curriculum content in a group mentor setting. 

2.    Recruit TSP participants using a variety of marketing strategies.  

3.   Collect and log attendance data at each session.

4.   Complete data tracking reports.

5.   Develop meaningful mentee/mentor relationships with participants.

6.   Advocate for student’s education success.

7.   Communicate and build relationships with site staff  to support participants.

8.   Identify participant needs and refer participants to relevant community resources.

9.   Work closely with L.E.G team  to assess educational needs of participants.

10. Facilitator will conduct 1:1 weekly academic case management

11.   Specific duties include: Deliver the majority of the curriculum content, Ensuring all curriculum content is followed and delivered properly, ensure there are enough copies of materials, assist other facilitators when needed, classroom management/support, program errands, liaison between parent-teacher and student-teacher, and school staff as needed. Facilitator is expected to know every component of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Arts Degree preferred in a human services/education related field or extensive experience working with at-risk youth.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other technology tools.
  • Efficient organization skills; ability to multi-task and keep pace in an active environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to captivate and engage an audience of African American middle school students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and dedication to the personal development of youth.
  • Must be able to collaborate well within a team.

COMPENSATION: This position will be compensated at a rate of $17.50- 20/hour DOE. This is a part-time position up to 32 hours per week. Please note: This position is contracted. Successful performance in this position can lead to other long term opportunities within the organization. Life Enrichment Group is an at-will employer, performance is assessed after 90 days.

Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant


Life Enrichment Group’s mission is to provide guidance and support to youth and families through
positive channels of education, performing arts, and mentorship. All L.E.G programs offered are
aimed at positively promoting academic success by raising self and mental awareness of individual
worth, while providing young men and ladies with life skills and tools to combat and overcome
challenging life situations. The L.E.G. philosophy revolves around providing meaningful experiences
for youth, which address the challenges that African American and youth of color face daily. Youth
are partnered with positive role models who most often live and work in the communities of the youth they serve.

About the Role:
· Reports to Chief Executive Officer
· Manage calendars and arrange complex meetings and schedules (sometimes across multiple time zones) while maintaining close attention to detail and confidentiality; ensure that meeting details are confirmed (attendance, time/duration, location, including agendas with meeting reminders set), and proactively plan for travel time and other logistical considerations.
· Provide comprehensive support to chief executive officer by managing daily workflow, email, calendars priorities and deadlines.
· Provide office management, consisting of maintaining the office space, invoicing, coordinating payment of utilities and renewals/ subscriptions relevant to the operations of the organization as well as all technology needs.
· Support on-boarding and management of consultants and employees, coordinating paperwork, monthly time submissions (if applicable), and HR needs related to each member of the team as assigned by chief executive officer.
· Book and manage travel arrangements for domestic and international travel.
· Take meeting notes, and follow-up on deliverables.
· Other ad hoc projects and/or duties as assigned.

About You:
· Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, non-profit experience is a plus
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
· Ability to communicate succinctly and effectively
· Resourcefulness, as well as the ability and initiative to ask for help when necessary.
· Exceptional time management skills, and task juggling skills. You make sure the chief executive officer stays on task and on schedule.
· Proficiency in creating, compiling, and tracking documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, with experience in Google G Suite applications, and Microsoft Word and Excel and Power Point.
· Comfortable with technology and at ease with learning new software and/or systems.

Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant

Main functions:
The Mentor Coordinator is active in selecting, screening, and ensuring new mentors are
recruited, trained properly, and matched with the appropriate mentee. While providing
leadership, and expertise this position also works to select volunteers who are serious and
capable of handling all tasks and responsibilities assigned to them.
The ELMP Coordinator schedules and coordinates all events and trainings involving mentors
and volunteers for the Life Enrichment Group. This position also monitors the progress of
mentoring relationships and makes necessary changes if needed to maintain productivity and structure.
Reports to: Chief Program Officer

Duties included but not limited to:
· Recruit and enroll 50 mentors using a variety of recruitment strategies to enlist and enroll volunteer and mentors to support scholars across LEG programs.

· Develop mentor training curriculum and lead mentor training.
· Develop and implement mentor orientation.
· Match volunteer mentors with scholars.
· Provide ongoing match support to mentors.
· Provide match closure support for mentoring matches.
· Collect demographics and outcome data.
· Submit reports on mentor matches and monitor the progress.
· Conduct National Background Checks on all mentors.
· Plan gathering events for all mentors and mentees once per quarter.
· Develop policies and procedures for ELMP.
· Develop materials and content for mentor/mentee orientation.
· Create and administer mentor/mentee contracts including expectations.
· Build relationships with mentee’s parent/caregivers/guardian.
· Administer mentor evaluation and observations once per quarter.
· Support mentor/mentee activities with budgeted resources.
· Collect evaluation data from mentees on the mentoring relationships
· Develop evaluation process for mentors and mentees.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelors of Arts Degree preferred in a human services/education related field or
extensive experience working with academic case management.
